Chromata White™ Canvas, by Breathing Color, is a textured 20.5 mil Bright White, consistent Poly Cotton Blend Matte Canvas using an acid-free, neutral pH coating. Unlike 99.9% of available inkjet canvas products on the market today (for giclee printing), this canvas utilizes our "Chromata White" optical brightener additive-free and Fluorescent Whitening agent-free breakthrough technology.

"Chromata White" gives the end-user the most stable platform on which to print photographs and fine art giclees without the metamerism issues or color shift issues inherent on other canvases. Optical Brighteners compromise the attainment of true color, they complicate profiling accuracy, and they inevitably deteriorate and yellow over time.

Extensive independent testing by a UKAS accredited laboratory has concluded that the Chromata White Canvas meets and exceeds the standards set forth by the Fine Art Trade Guild for pH and lightfastness. The Fine Art Trade Guild has established these standards in order to protect the interests of consumers. Consumers who follow the Blue Wool Testing and the Fine Art Trade Guild standards can be confident that the art and framing supplies they use are archival.

Glamour™ II Veneer, a proprietary canvas varnish (and/or giclee varnish), has been developed to protect, preserve and enhance fine art and photographic prints produced on digital inkjet printers. This new non yellowing, water based canvas varnish is a perfect solution for easy inkjet print finishing. Glamour™ II Veneer giclee varnish has been specifically developed as a water based product to avoid the unpleasant and hazardous fumes given off by solvent based products, and is an absolutely perfect compliment to our very own Brilliance™ Canvas range. The combination of Glamour™ II Veneer with our Brilliance "Chromata White" Canvas (free of optical brightener additives) delivers the most archival and color-stable fine art reproduction available.
